NF Network Advocacy Program Hill Days

Washington| D.C.

The NF Network Advocacy Programs annual trip to Capitol Hill will take place from February 5 – 7 2017 in Washington, DC.

The NF Network Advocacy Program is the nation’s leading advocacy network working to improve the lives of the individuals living with NF. The national NF Network along with local NF organizations and NF Advocates educate congress on the urgency of federal dollars spent on Neurofibromatosis (NF) research. This grassroots efforts is focused on two federal funding sources for NF; the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Join the NF Network Advocacy Program!

Our Hill Visit Days brings together the NF community from across the country to educate Congress on federal funding of NF research, meet other advocates, and share their unique stories with legislators.

The event is crafted to educate advocates with little to no political experience and to provide useful updates to those with a history of political action. Our aim is to have every advocate leave the Hill Visit Days event with confidence that they made a difference on Capitol Hill.
