NF Camp in Michigan this August

NF, Inc. Michigan invites you to join Camp New Focus. Come and enjoy a family weekend of fun and social connections. Camp NF will provide opportunities for children to build self-esteem, gain independence, and forge relationships with other children living with NF. Parents benefit by connecting with other parents who have children living with this disorder. At Camp NF, families will share the experience of being part of a team, while learning and having fun in a safe, exciting, and supportive environment.

Families participate in activities including arts & crafts, canoeing, ropes course, and team building exercises. Support groups and role playing for children and parents are also available. At Camp NF, families will gain a better understanding of their condition, strengths, and self-worth.

Camp NF staff includes qualified medical staff, in addition to carefully selected counselors who have a genuine interest in children and teens. Many counselors are college students and professionals living with NF. Campers and parents will benefit from their experience, knowledge and understanding.

This is an overnight weekend, with laughter and friendship. The residential dorm offers comfortable beds, rooms and showers. Camp NF will make a strong effort to accommodate any child with NF who wants to attend.
