This is a very worthwhile symposium for those that are contemplating treatment for acoustic neuromas (aka vestibular schwannomas). While most who attend experience only one tumor, not NF2, the doctors who speak also serve our people who have NF2.  Best of all, they are available most of the week-end and there are special sessions for NF2, all captioned.  Dr. Brackmann (who does ABIs) is on ANA’s medical board and may be available to speak to you individually.  Dr. Wm. Slattery (also from House Ear Institute) usually conducts NF2 breakout sessions.  These symposiums are held every other year at different locations.  Click here to learn more about the ANA National Symposium. If you have questions, contact Dorothy Barnier, Facilitator, Michigan NF2 Support Group at 734.525.5581.
